Art is an integral aspect of his life. Currently working in a bronze-casting foundry. Chris has been very lucky to workalong side many artists during his 18-year carrier, David Nash, Nic Fiddian-Green, Sophie Ryder to name just a few. Chris’ supportive role through the realisation of sculpture projects has enriched and encouraged his own art.
Chris grew up in a Shropshire village, surrounded by woodland. nature, plants and animals which has shaped much ofhis artwork.
Schooled in Shropshire. Crash course in Life skills during a one-year Foundation Art course in Chester. Three years BA Hons degree in Fine art sculpture at the University of Central Lancashire 1995.
Sculpture is a creative moment captured in time. Chris embraces the creative process of bronze casting in his sculpture to make these moments permanent.
