Since graduating from Newport Art College, Nick has built a successful career as a graphic designer, working with many high profile clients, such as, The National Parks of England and Wales. Natural Resources Wales, and The Marine Conservation Society. Working with clients such as these further fuelled his passion for the environment and the Welsh landscape, particularly the reclaimed landscapes from its industrial past and the rivers and streams that were often integral to it. Fortunate to live in an area with such diverse and beautiful landscape, I feel compelled to capture not only the essence of a particular time and place, but also the emotions and feelings it evokes. I am interested in how the creation of textures, and the application and manipulation of the paint builds into representation.
