Working mainly in oil with a palette knife, Lara's artwork features bold, expressive strokes which aim to capture the atmosphere of her subject. Lara takes a lot of her inspiration for her work from the Welsh and Cornish landscapes. Lara's work has been displayed at numerous galleries across the UK including the Mall Galleries in London, the Turner Contemporary in Kent and most recently the Albany Gallery. She also recently appeared as a wildcard contestant on Sky Arts' "Landscape artist of the year 2024". Her portfolio includes both studio and 'en plein air' works.
