Based in Pembrokeshire in Wales, his work reflects a deep connection to place and a refined, observational approach. Working primarily in [medium – e.g. oil or mixed media], Dewsbury uses subtle colour, texture and composition to create paintings that convey both structure and atmosphere. His work balances careful observation with painterly expression, resulting in pieces that feel both grounded and evocative. His work has been widely exhibited and is held in private collections. As a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy, Dewsbury is recognised for his contribution to contemporary Welsh art.
