Rachel Ricketts is a contemporary British sculptor known for her distinctive three-dimensional works that explore form, balance and material. Based in Kington, a town on the borders of Wales, her practice reflects a thoughtful engagement with structure and space, creating pieces that are both tactile and visually striking.
Working in a wide variety of materials, Ricketts develops sculptural forms that combine strength with subtlety. Her work often draws on natural or abstract influences, resulting in pieces that invite interaction and change with light and perspective.
Her work has been exhibited across the UK and is held in private collections. At The Lion Street Gallery, we are pleased to present Rachel Ricketts as part of our programme supporting contemporary artists from Wales and the Borders.
Ricketts’ sculptures are increasingly sought after by collectors of contemporary British art, particularly those interested in modern sculpture with a strong sense of form and material presence.
